GSP Stars In Kickboxer Teaser Trailer

Former MMA stars George St. Pierre and Gina Carano have taken pride of place in the teaser trailer for Kickboxer: Vengeance, a remake of the 1989 cult hit Kickboxer starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. Following on from his success in the Captain America franchise, the former UFC welterweight champion plays the character 'Kavi', alongside a host of familiar names to combat sports fans. Canadian actor Alain Moussi revisits Van Damme's original lead character 'Kurt Sloane'; alongside him, former Strikeforce favourite Gina Carano is set to play a prominent role, with former WWE superstar Dave Bautista reliving the notorious, imposing villain of the story, Tong Po. Current UFC welterweight contender Tyrone Woodley will also feature in a more minor role. In a film which will largely follow the premise of the original, Van Damme returns, but this time as the master to whom the star pleads for help in avenging his brother's devastating defeat to the merciless Po.
