Cage Warriors today announced two blockbuster fights for their card taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark on Saturday 9th March 2019.
Soren Bak has vacated his newly won lightweight title in order to move down in weight and challenge Dean Trueman for the featherweight title. Bak won the lightweight title back in September when he defeated Paddy Pimblett in Liverpool and will be pleased to have the hometown fans on his side this time around. Trueman will venture into enemy territory to try and fend off the Viking and keep the title that he won after seeing off the rest of the field in the featherweight tournament that culminated with a win over Aiden Lee at Cage Warriors 100.
At the same event, UFC veteran Nicolas Dalby faces Alex Lohore for the Interim Welterweight Title, with the winner advancing to a fight with current champion Ross Houston to unify the belt. Both Dalby and Lohore are fighting off the back of big TKO finishes at CW100, and gave Cage Warriors fans some of the most exciting moments of 2018. There were questions over who deserved the next title shot at Houston so this fight will leave no doubt as to who the deserving challenger should be.

Other notable Danish names on the card include veteran of three UFC fights, Mads Burnell, who will be looking to build on his victorious Cage Warriors debut and 2016 Greco-Roman Olympic silver medalist, Mark O. Madsen, who is undefeated in his first six professional bouts.
The event takes place from K.B Hallen in Copenhagen and will be streamed on UFC Fight Pass.
