Sam Creasey’s opponent for Cage Warriors 102 in London has been announced as Andy Young returns to the promotion for the first time since 2014. The flyweight bout takes place on Saturday 2nd March 2019 in the Indigo at the O2 and will be streamed exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.
After his title fight loss in London last March, Creasey (10-2) rebounded with a first round TKO victory against Coner Hignett in September. Nine of his ten victories have come via stoppage so Creasey will be looking to make another statement to prove that he is one of the best flyweights on the European scene.
Andy Young (11-12) is in major need of a win as he is currently riding a four fight losing streak. He has recently fought for BAMMA, FNG, Brave CF and is coming off of a loss to Narek Avagyan in ACB. However, he has lost to quality opposition such as former UFC flyweight title challenger Ali Bagautinov. Young will be looking to get back into the win column and cement himself as the best flyweight in Cage Warriors.
The Cage Warriors 102 fight card currently is:-
Welterweight – Craig White v TBA
Lightweight – Perry Goodwin v Rhys McKee
Lightweight – Jai Herbert v Steve O’Keefe
Catchweight (175lbs) – John Maguire v Brad Wheeler
Featherweight – Steve Aimable v Decky McAleenan
