Former KSW welterweight champion, Borys Mankowski, is set to return to the cage on Saturday 23rd March 2019 at KSW 47 in Lodz, Poland. An opponent has not yet been set for the 29 year old who has struggled to fulfill recent fight bookings due to injury troubles.

Mankowski last fought in December of 2017 when he lost his belt to Roberto Soldic in a one-sided contest. Since then, he has been booked to fight twice but has picked up injuries on both occasions which has prevented him from competing. He will be hoping that it will be third time lucky this time around so that he is ready to show his skills come fight night and place himself back into the welterweight title picture.

Possible opponents for one of the more popular faces on the roster include Bruce Souto (who was his opponent originally scheduled for KSW 46), Krystian Kaszubowski or even former champion, Dricus Du Plessis, who Mankowski was supposed to face at KSW 41.

The card will be headlined by a bout between former World’s Strongest Man, Mariusz Pudzianowski, and Olympic Gold Medalist Weightlifter, Szymon Kolecki.

The current KSW 47 lineup is:-

Heavyweight – Mariusz Pudzianowski v Szymon Kolecki

Welterweight – Borys Mankowski v TBD
