Apparently, Conor McGregor was so successful in MMA during the last year, he got bored and decided to kick off 2017 as the ‘13th Jockey’ at The Pegasus World Cup Invitational – The world’s richest horse race.
‘The Notorious’ stars in a new series of short films advertising The Pegasus Cup Invitational. McGregor plays himself turning his attention to ‘the lucrative world of thoroughbred horse racing’ and is trained to be the ‘13th Jockey’ by veteran comedic actor Jon Lovitz. The four-part series is directed by Frank Coraci(The Wedding Singer) and was produced and shot at the world famous stables at Santa Anita Racetrack in Arcadia, Califorina.
Belinda Stornach, Chairman and President, stated: “The Stornach Group is thrilled to be working with Conor McGregor to introduce The Pegasus World Cup Invitational and the Sport of Kings to a new generation of fan. Conor is a natural athlete, showman and now, a jockey!”
The four short films will be released via Pegasus World Cup Invitational social media channels on January 4th, 11th and 18th, while the final episode will be airing live on the NBC race day broadcast on January 28th.
