Bellator 158 gets another addition to its fight card when Oli'The Spartan'Thompson, who is currently enjoying a five fight win streak, meets Matt Mitrione at London's 02 Arena on July 16th. The surprise announcement was made as part of Bellator 157, Dynamite 2 show in St Louis earlier today.
Matt Mitrione's inclusion will hopefully re-invigorate a card beset by tragedy, pullouts and injuries. Thompson will look to capitalise on his recent good fortune, change in training regimen and offer of a lucrative contact with the California based promotion.
Mitrione expressly asked for a fast turn around after a stellar KO finish in his Bellator debut the bout was confirmed by the promotion after he was medically cleared to compete by doctor's at the venue.
