CM Punk Vs Mickey Gall targeted for #UFC202

It seems that McGregor Vs Diaz 2 at #UFC202 will also play home to the MMA debut of former WWE World Champion, CM Punk. Jeremy Botter who is the Managing Editor of martial arts site FloCombat broke the news via twitter yesterday;

Oh. And CM Punk vs. Mickey Gall is targeted for August 20. Same night as Diaz/McGregor. Hope I didn’t ruin any announcements.

Punk, real name Phil Brooks, announced he was joining the UFC at the back end of 2014 but has yet to have competed inside the Octagon. Mickey Gall won the opportunity to become the guy to face Punk in his first professional fight when he defeated Mike Jackson at UFC Fight Night 82 and it seems the pair now have a date for their match. Nothing has been made official by the promotion at the time of writing.
