The news was first broken by Ariel Helwani and subsequently confirmed across the UFC's social media accounts that a deal had finally been reached between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz for a rematch at UFC 202. With ongoing disagreements between the interested parties over terms, particularly money and media duties, many thought the much anticipated rematch would never take place, especially with so much speculation about a boxing superfight between McGregor and Floyd 'Money' Mayweather. Last week, White admitted that McGregor was "obsessed" by the idea of a rematch with Diaz, but now a deal has been reeached with both the fighter and his management, and the bout will finally go ahead in Las Vegas in August There is no indication of what will happen- win or lose- following the matchup regarding Conor's featherweight title, but unless McGregor reliquishes his word championship, it is likely he will face the winner of Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar at UFC 200.It's on!!!
